Terms and conditions

These general terms govern the booking and purchase of the services offered through https://www.bilbaotaxitransfer.com, owned by Carlos Gómez Lázaro (NIF 45627426A), with address at Forua, 14 – 1ª, Etxebarri (Bizkaia), Spain and email info@bilbaotaxitransfer.com.

1. Purpose

The purpose of these terms is to govern the booking of passenger transport services with driver (transfers), tours and excursions provided by Bilbao Taxi Transfer.

2. Description of the service

The service consists of transporting passengers between the pick-up and drop-off points indicated by the customer at the time of booking, in the selected vehicle type (saloon or minivan), with driver. The passenger and luggage capacity of each vehicle is shown during the booking process.

3. Booking process

  1. Enter pick-up, drop-off, date, time and number of passengers.
  2. Select the vehicle type and review the calculated price.
  3. Complete your contact details and accept these terms.
  4. Make the payment to confirm the booking.

Once payment is complete, the customer receives a confirmation by email.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes (VAT). The transfer price is calculated based on distance, vehicle type and service conditions, and is shown to the user before confirming the booking. Supplements for additional services, if any, will be expressly indicated.

5. Payment methods

Payment is made by credit or debit card (VISA, Mastercard) through the secure Redsys payment gateway of the bank. The transaction takes place in a secure environment with SSL encryption and 3D Secure strong authentication. Bilbao Taxi Transfer does not have access to or store the customer’s full card details.

6. Booking confirmation

The booking is confirmed once payment has been received and the confirmation email sent. The customer is responsible for providing correct contact details.

7. Cancellations and changes

You may cancel or change your booking by emailing info@bilbaotaxitransfer.com. The following refund conditions apply:

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours before the service time: 100 % refund.
  • Cancellation between 24 and 2 hours before the service: 50 % refund.
  • Cancellation less than 2 hours before, or no-show: no refund.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103(l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services with a specific date or period of performance. The cancellation policy above applies instead.

9. Customer obligations

The customer agrees to be at the agreed place and time, to provide truthful information and to use the vehicle appropriately. The service may be cancelled without refund in the event of behaviour that endangers safety or breaches applicable regulations.

10. Liability

Bilbao Taxi Transfer will provide the service with due diligence. It shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure, adverse weather, traffic disruptions or other circumstances beyond its control.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Where the customer is a consumer, the court of the customer’s domicile shall have jurisdiction. Under Regulation (EU) 524/2013, the customer may use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
