Bilbao Taxi Transfer respects users’ privacy and is committed to protecting their personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

  • Managing and confirming bookings for transfers and contracted services.
  • Processing payment for the services through the secure payment gateway.
  • Handling enquiries, quote requests and communications.
  • Issuing invoices and complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • Sending information about our services where the user has given consent.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing is: the performance of the contract for the transport service; the consent of the data subject for enquiries and commercial communications; compliance with legal obligations; and the legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship.

4. Data we process

Identification and contact data (name, surname, telephone, email), data required to provide the service (pick-up and drop-off, date, time, number of passengers and luggage, flight details where applicable) and billing data. Card payments are made directly within the bank’s secure environment; we do not store your full card details.

5. Retention

Data will be retained for as long as the contractual relationship is maintained and, thereafter, for the periods legally required to address possible liabilities (in particular, tax and commercial periods).

6. Recipients

  • Web hosting provider: Webempresa Europa, S.L. (webempresa.com).
  • The bank and the Redsys payment gateway for processing card payments.
  • Google maps and route-calculation services (Google Maps Platform), which may involve international data transfers subject to the appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.

Beyond these cases, data will not be disclosed to third parties except where legally required.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@bilbaotaxitransfer.com, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of an identity document. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Bilbao Taxi Transfer has adopted the technical and organisational measures necessary to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. The website operates under the secure HTTPS protocol.
